Issue:

Getting an error code 0x104 when trying to connect to Pasport 


Unable to connect to the remote Application Pasport.

Getting this error code: 0x104. See screenshot below:


Resolution:

  1. Open System Settings on your Mac.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security > Local Network.
  3. Find Windows App (or Microsoft Remote Desktop) in the list.
  4. Toggle the switch OFF, wait a second, and toggle it back ON.
  5. Try connecting again. 
  6. If needed, try to restart your Mac.
