Issue


The following error message appears when attempting to establish a connection to a Windows Remote Desktop or Application.



Solution


Your Windows remote desktop/application login is linked to your Okta account. When you change your Okta password, your Windows Remote Desktop/application password will automatically update.


Follow These Steps to Change Your Password:


1. Visit the Okta password reset page: https://doctorsofbc.okta.com/enduser/settings

2. Click on "Password" next to "Reset", then follow the prompts to change your password.


Important:

After resetting your password, logging out of your Mac is essential. This will ensure that your new password is correctly synced.


1. Click the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen.

2. Select "Log Out."

3. Once logged out, attempt to log back in using your new password.


If you are having trouble logging back in, please use your old password. Then, try logging out and logging in again using your new password.
