Introduction:
This Article guides you through the process of allowing pop-up windows for UltiPro/UKG on Safari for Mac. Some websites require pop-ups to provide full functionality, and this KBA will ensure you can enable pop-ups where necessary without compromising your browser's overall pop-up settings.
Instructions
- Open Safari Browser and Navigate to UKG via Okta
- On the menu bar, Click on Safari and then Settings (see screenshot below for reference)
- In the Settings window, click on the "Websites" tab at the top. This tab allows you to adjust settings for how Safari interacts with websites.
From the sidebar on the left, click on "Pop-up Windows" to manage settings for pop-ups on various websites.
Adjust Settings for UltiPro/UKG:
- In the main panel, look for the UltiPro/UKG website (it may be listed as "tw11.ultipro.ca" or a similar URL).
- To the right of the website name, click the drop-down menu currently set to "Block and Notify" or "Block."
- Change this setting to "Allow" for UltiPro/UKG to enable pop-ups.
Save Changes:
- The changes are saved automatically, so you can close the settings window after you have set UltiPro/UKG to "Allow."
Note: Allowing pop-ups for UltiPro/UKG will enable you to use all the features of the site that may require pop-up windows. This change only affects the specific site you select and will not alter pop-up settings for any other websites.
