Laptop Setup
1. In the laptop box, you will get your MacBook Air, USB C to MagSafe Cable and USB C power adapter.
2. The MacBook Air comes with the following slots.
3. Plug the USB-C power adapter into a power outlet. Plug the USB-C end of the MagSafe 3 cable into the power adapter and connect the other end to the MagSafe 3 port on your Mac.
Plugin Accessories
1. There are only 2 USB C slots on the laptop. To connect more accessories to the laptop or accessories with different types of USB cables, you will need to connect a USB C hub to the laptop.
2. Connect the USB C cable from the hub to the USB C slot on your laptop. Use the USB C hub slots to attach different accessories to your laptop.
Plugin External Monitor
1. To set up the external monitor, please confirm you have the following items:
2. Plugin one end of the power cable into the power slot on the monitor and the other one into the power outlet as shown in the picture below:
3. To enable the ports, webcam and speakers in the monitor, plug in the USB B end of the extension cables into the Monitor.
4. Plug the other end of the extension cable into the USB C hub attached to the laptop in the previous section.
5. Plug one end of HDMI cable into the monitor.
6. Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the USB hub if you use just one external monitor. If you use two external monitors, plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the display link adapter, which will then be connected to one of the USB C slots on the laptop.
