Note: VPN is required to access remote applications like Passport, Great Plains, insurance software, L drive and certain M-files web app features. If it is not installed on your MacBook please install it using Kandji Self service portal.



1. Check if global protect is installed in your Mac. Open Finder by clicking on the smiling face icon in the dock, go to applications folder and look for Global protect application in the list of installed applications. If the applications is available proceed to step 6, otherwise follow the next step. 

2. Click on the Kandji bee icon    available on the top menu bar.

3. Click on Kandji Self Service.

     


4. Look for Global protect app under Recommended apps category and press install to install it on your Mac.

5. Once installed, a globe icon will appear on the top menu bar on your MacBook.

6. Click on the globe icon and press connect to connect to the VPN.
